SingTel's BlackBerry Bold Pricing

Final post for the night before I storm off to bed.


The BlackBerry Bold 9000 will be available from SingTel for S$988 (~approx US$696). That's the price without a contract. With a contract, I'll estimate it to be lower at maybe $488 or so.



SingTel also introduces 4 "exclusive" programs for the BB:


- Worldmate Live (Gold)
- WayFinder
- GreenFinder
- Viigo




These will be value-added services that can be triggerd via an SMS from your BB. The programs will be pushed to your BB. Yes, current BBs such as the 87xx and 83xx are supported. So are the Pearls.

Unfortunately, no pricing or instructions given as yet to get them.

BLOODY IPHONE

I'M BLOGGING IN A DISGUSTINGLY FOUL MOOD.

I mean... I'm really FUCKING FURIOUS. FUCK IT!

The iPhone just decides to act up and lose all the photos I've taken at the BlackBerry Bold launch. But, that's not what I'm peeved with.

I took some pictures with my mom just now and NOW THOSE ARE LOST! AND I LOVE THOSE PICTURES. A couple of candid shots taken at the right time in the right poses. LOST FOREVER!

Other times I'll fire up a data recovery program and recover as much as I can. But the bloody iPhone doesn't have a bloody DISK MODE so I jolly bloody well can't bloody recover any bloody shit. You can't access no goddamn xyzphone cos there's no goddamn DISK ACCESS FOR IT! Not on Windows! Not on Mac! No No No! Zilch! Nada! YOU'RE FUCKED!

Yeah. Shut up. I know. Caveat Emptor. Wipe that smug look off your face please.

But admit it. Apple is being a total bastard in this case.

I'm switching to depression mode now. Good night.

Bold and Beautiful Night Out (UPDATE: DAMN THE iPHONE)

Ok, the event was held at Movida, St. James Power Station from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

The whole thing kicked off with a Brazilian fire-juggling performance. After that, some executives from SingTel and RIM went on stage to hawk on the virtues of the BlackBerry Bold and what we should do to get it. We were given a pre-order link. So I whipped out the iPhone and ordered 4.

Plenty of drinks to go around. Thank you SingTel! :D



UPDATE: I wanted to post some pictures of the event. Unfortunately, the damn iPhone lost all it's photos. GOD DAMN IT.

I wanted to take pictures of a few freebies from the show. But I'm too angry for that.
